Reading arduino serial via Wifi

Hi,

I am working with ESP32 and trying to send serial data via wifi to putty.
This video shows how to set up serial data via wifi.

I am also using the WifiTelnetToSerial sketch but unfortunately I can't send data from arduino to Putty.
When logging in with putty serial monitor on arduino shows that there is a "New client: 0 ..," + IP address.

But communication inbetween Putty and arduino serial monitor is not possible.
Are there some setting I have to configure in Putty?
Until now I just clicked the Telnet conncetion type, pasted IP address of ESP32 and chose port (23).

Does anyone know how to solve the problem?

Thanks!!

It is also an example for using ESP8266 but ESP 32 doesn't work with this library...
Is it possible to use this libraray for ESP32?

how it doesn't work?

Is it possible to flash an ESP32 as an ESP8266?
Library included in mentioned code is just compatible with ESP8266...

Finally found a good explanation (Link).

Problem solved
