Ok, I have seen the posts by a chap who wanted to use Arduino as a contactless payment system...... And, no, I do not want to do this.....

I have been playing with RFID and my laptop, with the aim of using it to unlock my office pc. I have had success with this, and it is really quite simple.

But I want to use a contactless payment card as the NFC tag. The reason for this is to ensure that I cannot be requested to leave a login card when I am away from the office. If it is my bank card I am using, then I have a justifyable reason not to leave it to allow others access to my PC.

This is due to some security concerns. Can this be done?

Seems ill advised, especially if you store info from your bank card in an Arduino or on an office computer.
Just use a separate NFC card and keep it in your wallet.

And glue it to an old (non-NFC) bank card to make people THINK it is your bank card. 🙂

yes. Why do you think it can't be done?
A bank card has a 7 byte UID like other nfc cards have. If you just rely on the UID of a NFC tag, you can rely on the UID of the bank card also.
