Reading data from Wifly to Arduino

Hi,

My project involves sending short messages to arduino to be displayed on an LCD. Thanks to the wifly shield I have been able to receive this messages wirelessly. The problem arises when I try reading these messages from the wifly. On tera term terminal i can see the messages that i send from the PC. This is shown below on the last line.

WiFly Shield Terminal Routine

Set wlan join level to 4
Set wlan ssid to wifly-GSX
Set wlan channel to 1
Set ip address to 169.254.1.1
Set ip netmask to 255.255.0.0
Set ip dhcp to 0

I tried using SPI_Uart_ReadByte(char address) but couldn't figure out which address to read from the SC16IS750 register and also wasn't sure if this is the correct way. I hoped to do something like lcd.print(Spi_Uart_ReadByte(...));

Any suggestions on how to best do this?..

Thanks.

Must be a coding issue, somewhere.

Thanks to the wifly shield

The wifly shield is inaccurate. There is more than one wifi shield.

We can't figure out what address or register to read from, either, since we don't know which shield you have.

Any suggestions on how to best do this?

I imagine that something will occur to you soon.
