Reading Datasheets

Sorry for the stupid question, but I'm uncertain about some datasheet info. For the SOT-23 package, what do the different numbers for a particular dimension mean? e.g. the width of the package is 3.05/2.75mm. The width of its pads is 0.50/0.30mm.

I've been coming across this type of data here and there, but am still not 100% sure what it actually indicates.

I believe that's the minimum/maximum instead of a +/- tolerance. No dimensions are perfect so there is always a tolerance.

Yes, its maximum/minimum.
