Good afternoon, I apologize for my English, in a project that I am developing I am using 2 LM35 sensors, one of the cables is about 2m and the other 1m long, the 1m one does not present problems, but the 2m one does . The place where they are is made of metal and there is a lot of static; I thought that was it, but since only the long length is wrong so I discarded it. I suppose it is because it is a very long cable, I put the filter that comes in its datasheet, I decrease a little but the error still persists. (The error is that its values are very high, instead of reading 30 or 28 it detects 40). I do not know how I can solve it, use shielded cable and ferrite core but still nothing, what can you advise me?
Without a schematic I will try t guess and say try swapping the two sensor assemblies and see if the problem stays with the sensor. If so it is the sensor assembly that is giving you trouble, if not it is probably your circuit that it connects to.
You could use a digital sensor instead of an analog one.
