Reading Pins as High for a password?

So I have a stupid idea, would there be a way to use LED's lighting up as a password, so if it reads 4 pins as high it would output something to a screen/serial?

Your question is confusing. You can read the state of GPIO input pins and test if they match a pattern for the password, but what does the LEDs have to do with that?

My bad! I was using the LEDs as an example for pins being high. Thank you for the pattern info though!
