Reading USB data from USB Host shield

Hi,

I purchase the usb host shield (similar to this https://www.circuitsathome.com/products-page/arduino-shields/usb-host-shield-2-0-for-arduino-assembled/) and am attempting to access the usb data that gets passed through it. Is there any object with which I can do this? e.g

SoftwareSerial usbSerial
usbSerial.read()
usbSerial.write()

Thanks!

Anyone?

Wasn't there some code at the circtuits at home page?

Unfortunately none. At least, I have not found any.

The link you provided has a reference to a library on github

felis/USB_Host_Shield_2.0

It might or might not work. You need to be far more accurate in what you bought. Personally I would never buy anything that does not have a link to a library / examples but that's just me.

I've found this library yes, but it is more high level abstraction (e.g for reading xBox controller moves, you can create a xbox object) none of the low level I want
