Reading web page over wifi issues

I have been trying for 2 days to get retrieve web page content over wifi. The Wishield library do not seem to support client or client.read.

I have a webpage that is reading a single digit database entry and I need to use the single digit to trigger action on the Arduino.

I can find examples that use ethernetclient but very few for Wishield. Can anyone cast some light on this. I'm new to the Arduino world and have been going well for a week or two until I hit this issue.

Cheers Bobster.

This page seems to apply:

Thanks James, I compiled the twitter code without issue but this only pushes out a URL it doesn't seem to read anything back to the Arduino. Is there a way to read page content back to the card using this script?

Sorry if this is a bit of a newbie question.

Bobster

Okay, another example from the same site. Should already be included in the library you downloaded: https://github.com/asynclabs/WiShield/blob/master/examples/SimpleClient/SimpleClient.pde

In that example a small file is retrieved from a web site and printed over serial.
