Hey guys my first post here, I'm trying to use a 12v relay with the arduino with a 12v powersply as the power for the relay but i'm having trouble. Any help would be gratefully appreciated. Here is my parts list.
This is what i currently have tried to make it work.
So what you need to do now, is to show us your circuit, and explain the nature of your "trouble".
You will also need a R of say 4.7k to 10k for the Tr base.

It's alright I've got it working turns out I burnt out the transistor so o just replaced it and it's working fine now
OK, but to prevent more burning, perhaps you should show us the circuit.
