I'm looking for a tutorial or general help.
I want to be able to take data and send it over a distance to a receiver. I have a Module from MakerFocus, but I can't really find any documentation.

However nRF24 modules are designed to talk to each other.

If you are asking whether you can use an nRF24 to receive data from your MakeFocus module then I have no idea. The MakerFocus datasheet or user manual is essential.

A company called Cypress also makes 2.4GHz transceivers and AFAIK they are not compatible with the Nordic transceivers.
