Hi, fellow experts! ![]()
I want to ask you for advice on my project. I have an old GPS module with screen and all of this stuff and a camera that send the video(live) via jack. My GPS module has an output jack and mini usb for charging. I wonder if I can display the video from the camera on the GPS. Maybe to use some specil coder and decoder with the Arduino? Can you help me, please ?
Ah! Another guessing game.
Guessing of what
I found the instructions manual
User Manual. Evolio Hi-Speed 4.3.pdf (1.0 MB)
Any details
I sent the instructions manual, this has all the informations
It tells us that the sat-nav runs under WinCE.
I'd try a WinCE forum.
Nothing at all about a camera
I told you it is a camera that sends the video via jack
No, you cannot.
Even if I use some sort of decodor ?
Or if I install Android?
Yes, you could use a decoder to read the camera output and create a file in a format that the box can read and display.
That would be a completely independent, self contained project, but not for Arduino.
But live it can't work ? Or if I install Android ? And how can I connect the camera with the GPS module
Ask the company that made the GPS unit.
It's not their mini camera so I don't think they can answer that
But if I take the display can I use it with an Arduino?
Why do you think Arduino forum members would know?
Especially when you can't even explain which camera you have.
How do you want to explain the details of the camera it is unbranded
{smacks forehead} Of course!
Video!
Via a jack!
Right. Got it.
Yes that is the port it is like a jack
