Does anyone know if a metronom in a program like Cubase sends midi data for tempo and time signature according to tempo track, beside midi data for high and low notes. And if it does how can you read it? Is there a some conditional data to read before the sequence FF 58 04 nn dd cc bb .
I don't know about midi time dependent data, sysex, meta-data a lot, so if some could help me to just read the data about tempo and time signature because I need it to calculate the time period between metronom clicks for start.
