Receiving serial during startup

Hi There,

Im having trouble with my arduinos receiving serial during startup. I have a serial bus with a couple of arduinos connected to a pc. De pc checks all the arduinos on interval for data. But sometimes arduinos are powered up while there is serial data on de bus. When this happens the arduino will never boot up. I suppose this is because it thinks its receiving a sketch. Is there any way to prevent this behaviour?

  • erase bootloader;
  • change Fuse to not execute bootloader (BOOTRST = 1) ;
  • do not send anything in serial port without asking of arduino
