Recieved pulses shown in Serial Monitor, how to get in on an lcd?

i am doing a speed measurement project, for now i am using a pulsegenerator and the serial monitor shows those pulses, but how can i get that on my 20*4 Lcd
i am using Arduino Uno?

i am pretty new to this

Can you write anything to the LCD? Like the "hello world" example from the LCD library that you are using.

Do you really think a 20x4 LCD is a good choice for this? What exactly do you expect to see?
