Redboard plus and weather shield

Hello,

I am hoping to get clarification using the Sparkfun redboard one. I have a weather kit: direction vane, precip bucket, wind speed interfacing to a weather shield DEV-13956. Do I set the Redboard plus to 3.3v or 5v ? Doesn't seem to address this anywhere. My shield uses 3.3v sensors , I am assuming this should set to 3.3v I/O. Does anyone have experience with these boards and the weather kit ? Thanks

There is a bit of conflicting information. Their forum did not have a lot of traffic with useful info. My project if not obvious is to interface the sensors for wind and rain to the redboard. The shield has other sensors on it, I2C from what I gathered. I think will set the board to 3.3v and load test code, safer that way so I don't burn anything out. Unfortunately my office is closed due to fires, so will need to wait until monday. I just can't sit idle lol.

Never mind. The voltage selection on the redboard is for I/O pins. 3.3v and 5v switch. 3.3v makes it compatible with I2C 3.3v. Sorry for the vague ask.
