Reduce parasitic drain? [SOLVED]

Hi, I bought this capacitive led touch dimmer and it's working perfectly fine but the problem is that it's taking 1.5mA of current when main led is off. There seems to be a red led indicator on the module which I think is taking most of that current.

Can I safely take out that led? will the module still work? I dont know if the led in the cirsuit is series or parallel. Here is the picture of that module.

smd led is the bottom left most component

Trace the PCB traces, or provide a photo of the other side...

here's the back side pics

I would be very surprised if the led had any other job then letting you know it has power. So yeah, just remove it

Yes, it runs from Vcc (after a diode) to GND, so its just showing power. You could drill out
the via on the reverse side of the board to break the connection, which allows reconnection by
soldering in a thin wire.

ok thanks. Just wanted to know that it wasn't connected in series.
