Today I happened to brick one of my Pro Micros. So I reflashed the bootloader using my Atmel ICE ISP programmer and the Arduino IDE.
After having done that I hade some issues programming the device. But I realized quickly that it was due to me reseting the Pro Micro to set it in upload mode. This is no longer needed.
Apparently the new bootloader can handle direct upload of programs from Arduino IDE now. That's great!
Just wanted to let you all now as I have not seen any information what so ever about this during my investigations and info searches on the Pro Micro.
