Regional language support

Is it possible to print regional language(hindi) in lcd display with the help of arduino?

Most 16x2 LCDs that appear on Ebay contain fonts with Latin characters. You can only use characters from the built-in font ROM. (and 8 User defined characters)

There are modules that have fonts with Cyrillic or Japanese characters but I suspect that they cost a lot of money. So there might even be some Hindi ROMs.

It is probably easier and cheaper to use a GLCD that can draw anything you want. e.g. ST7920, KS0108, ... Or a TFT, OLED that probably have greater resolution and even colour.
