Registering my Arduino products

I'm sorry to have to ask this but I am new to Arduino and the web site. The booklet that arrived with my Arduino Due says "Register Your Product on my.arduino.cc or my.arduino.org" and then list the Product Code. However, I have been unable to locate a registration page on the site. Can someone point me to this or if it's really not a necessity, then I'll not worry with it.

Thank you.

Thank. So the answer is, anyone that does not want to follow a bunch of links and read the same question several times, there is no place to register these products. Which is fine.

Regards

The only reason to register products is to validate your warranty and often to inadvertently get on a mailing list. Since the Arduino folks have stated that they're aware of the issue, not having registered should not affect the warranty.

I actually never do that with any of my purchases and have not had problems with returns of unregistered products. I think it's mostly a way of tricking customers into providing free marketing data.
