Relay 5V not working

Hello guys,
I have this relay Dropbox - File Deleted - Simplify your life . I am trying to turn on and off one led first and after move for some real 220VAC lights.
I am connecting GND to ground of the arduino, IN1 to some digital output of arduino(i am using also the transistor 2N2222) and the VCC to 5V of arduino. For the LED i connect the cathode to the ground and from 5V from arduino through the relay and after to the anode of the LED. I am using just some simple code for turning on and off the relay(delay 1sec). The only thing that happens is to blink one small light from the relay that i think show that is receiving the data. But the LED connected to output of the relay dont turn on. I am connecting the 5V to middle and right pin of K1(Dropbox - File Deleted - Simplify your life)

Do you have any idea why?

Hello,

it sounds weird, as it should be simple

the led should be connnected like this:

and, for the ralay, do you hear the contact inside makes a sound? if not, then the voltaje on IN1 is not enought to pull the contact.

Hope it helps.

I hope it is not wired like that. You need a resistor in line with that LED or you will burn it out.

oops! true, i forgot the resistor... i just wanted to edit the photo :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Hello guys,
I tried it last night and it works just fine now. Thanks for the quick replying.
