Relay confusion

Hey guys, maybe its a bit of a silly question but i have this module

And i need to use it to trigger a camera when i ask the arduino turn the relay on....to do this i need to connect ground and the shutter connections together via the 2.3mm jack.

Obviously ive used a jack socket so that the circut runs down the channels on a breadboard. (Not trying to tie wires to a bare 2.3mm jack :slight_smile:

As i need NO additional voltage going into shutter to ground circut im unsure how to wire up the relay....? Do i just connect the shutter wire to normally open And ground to??????

You should have to connect to the C (center) pin and the NO (normally open) pin. you can confirm this by using an ohm meter, measure resistance when you have the relay activiated and is should read zero or almost zero, and register an open when no tripped.

To avoid confusion C stands for common and is rarely the center terminal
