Relay not working

Okay I will be quick. I am making a home automation project using hc-o5 module, arduino nano and 8-channel relay board.
this is how my relay looks like

now my connections are
in1 to d2 arduino
gnd to gnd arduino
vcc to vcc arduino
i dont use jumper neither the jumper side gnd

for bluetooth txd to rxd
rxd to txd
gnd to gnd
vcc to vcc

i used a breadboard side part, I think so it is called power bus to expand the gnd and vcc of arduino.
I am powering my arduino using a usb cablethrough computer
sometimes even from a 10000mah power bank which gives a max output of 5V
now the problem is after all the connections the relay light turns on. But the apliance connected never turns on.
This is how I have connected-

Hi,
Welcome to the forum.

Please read the first post in any forum entitled how to use this forum.
http://forum.arduino.cc/index.php/topic,148850.0.html .
Then look down to item #7 about how to post your code.
It will be formatted in a scrolling window that makes it easier to read.

Can you please post a copy of your circuit, in CAD or a picture of a hand drawn circuit in jpg, png?

Ops pic.

Thanks.. Tom... :slight_smile:

int lamp1=2;

int Received=0;
int lamp1_state=0;

void setup(){

  Serial.begin(9600);
  pinMode(lamp1,OUTPUT);

}

void loop(){

 if(Serial.available()>0)
 {
    Received = Serial.read();

 }

if (lamp1_state == 0 && Received == '1')
  {
    digitalWrite(lamp1,HIGH);
    lamp1_state=1;
    Received=0;
  }
if (lamp1_state ==1 && Received == '1')
  {
    digitalWrite(lamp1,LOW);
    lamp1_state=0;
    Received=0;
  }
  }

This is the code-
I got it from this video
I am not able to send a image better than that

In the description one can find link to apk to control relay

Hi,
Have you got some code that just turns the relay ON and OFF to test your circuit?
