In addition to my previous comments, having never used those type of relay boards, I wonder if they'd be better driven with fets off the 74HC595 instead of directly - kinda hard to tell by the pics the type of relay board, and if driving the teleruptors directly as the skecth seems to show, then definitely fets to drive them - TomGeorge thoughts?
