Remote Blackmagic Shield for Camera Control

Good Afternoon,
I'm wanting to try a project that I'm not entirely sure if it's possible. I want to use a Arduino in our Control Room with a Joystick or slider shield on it, as well as an ethernet shield.

Then through the network to our cameras where we would have another Arduino with an ethernet shield and the Blackmagic Shield for camera control. This would be a closed network.

Ideally we would also be able to use the 1 Arduino with the slider, and some sort of way to switch between the remote Arduino's with the one in the control room.

I have absolutely no clue if this is possible, or what all is needed, and have zero coding knowledge, I'm willing to pay someone through fiverr or something like that for coding, but first want to know what all is needed and if it's possible.

This is the Blackmagic shield and this is the manual to the Blackmagic shield.

How do you intend to test the project without disrupting the business?

We have some spare Cameras and downtime during the weeks for testing without disrupting our normal flow of operations.

Apparently you do not understand program development and testing go hand-in-hand at the same time. No competent programmer will ever write a complete, complex program that also includes interfacing to other equipment, in one session and then send it away for testing.
my unasked for advice is you should fined someone local your business and hire them with testing, on-site, as needed.
