remote extender help

Hi. I am a novice with arduino to the point where I have never even touched one. However, I understand the basics and want to try and make a remote extender. Problem is that I need it to have multiple receivers and one emitter (or several emitters on 1 faceplate in one place).

I have 3 TV sets and want the sky/media player/xbox etc in one cupboard. Is this possible and if so, what would I need?

Cheers

Firstly, you will need some basic knowledge of programming and electronics. Members of this forum are pleased to assist you when you have a problem. They will not give you a finished product (unless you pay).

Start your project with one remote. If you get that working, add another.

There is plenty of info on this site. Search on the box at the top of this page.

Once you have done some basic research, come back and ask for clarification and further help.

There is no need for a processor here, it is just a matter of simple electronics. Get an IR receiver chip and an IR LED and a modulation chip using a 555 timer no Arduino required.

There's not even a need for a 555 timer.

Circuit is provided right in the datasheets. I'm pretty sure the three devices only differ in the shape of the package.
