Hi everyone,
I wanted to replace a button press with a wireless switch. I had one of these
DieseRC
which would have been perfect for my needs – simple and without major issues. It has various settings like prolonged or temporary press. The problem is that when I replaced the two wires in place of the switch, I think it sent the load voltage to the digital pin, damaging the Arduino.
Can anyone give me a suggestion on whether it is possible to integrate that wireless switch as a button on a digital pin instead of a physical one? Thanks a lot in advance.
A few years ago I built a gate release for a bird trap for a friend. I used similar devices as you have used, EXCEPT! the ones I used have relay closure when the button is pressed. That type would completely avoid your error.
Thanks, do you remember the device.
If someone know a solution for my device it will be fantastic.
Thanks
I find this
Arduino Nano: Connect a Mini RF Wireless Switch
but I don't know if this is for my purpose.
Now that our power is back on, I searched EBAY and found this is symilar to what I used. Note the RELAY output!.
