Replacing an existing Arduino connected to iot Cloud

Hi,

I have an existing Arduino board which needs replacing. I'll replace it with an identical board. But it's setup in the cloud, has some things attached to it, w/variables, and Alexa connectivity.

Do I have to add the new board as a device, then re-create all of my things, variables, sketches, etc.? Or is there a way to just tell the iot cloud app to use my new board in place of the old board?

Try going to the Things tab and select your Thing, now in the Device section click the 3 dots menu and select Change Device.

Great, thanks. It wasn't setup quite like that, but I found the Thing and the Change button which allows me to associate it to a new device. Thank you!
