Morning all
Looking for a advice of replacing the Q2 FQP47P06 that is on the sample drawing with IRF9520. The IRF9520 is not a logic mosfet and require 10v at the gate. By looking at this drawing i assume that the IRF9520 gonna work just fine?
Please correct me if i`m wrong. Thanks
Logic level is not relevant here, since gate drive is done by the NPN transistor, and is almost 12volt.
The FQP47P06 has a significantly lower 'on' resistance (~25x better), Meaning it's better suited for high currents. Leo..
