Replacing USB Mini port with Micro on my Nano

I wish to replace the USB mini port on my Arduino Nano with a USB micro port.

Is it as simple as to unsolder the existing USB port and soldering a new USB micro port in the same place?

The reason is that most of my chargers (power supplies) are from mobile phones and thus micro ports.

I think you will find the pads to secure the connector shell to the board will not align properly.
Better off getting 2 extender cable and mating them for the ends you need, micro on one side and mini on the other.

Thanks, I guess I will have to settle with the adapter for now.
