I need to know how to represent flight time with led's there are 6 leds. I know I need to convert decimal to binary, but thats about it

So, you know everything you need to do. Why don't you just do it?

You don't have to use binary. You could use blinking. You could use a sequence of patterns to represent numbers. If you WANT to use binary you have 64 numbers you can represent. How those map to flight times is up to you.

What is the "flight time"?

It takes about 15 hours to fly from Los Angeles to Sydney.
