It flickers to the eye too...I'd like it not to, but since this is just for me I can't say it's "important". If it was for a third party I'd be more concerned.
Until I get sick of it flickering and decide to smash it into a wall of course...so if it can be fixed, yes please!
If it's a coding fix, it's okay if it's complex. If it's a wiring electronics fix...harder for me to understand, but I'll try.
