Why do keywords.txt and README.txt have dots at the end of the names?
Open Control Panel. In the search field, type file extensions. Under Folder Options, you'll see Show or Hide file extensions. Click that.
On the dialog that comes up, Hide extensions for known file types should NOT be checked, and the assholes at Microsoft should be horsewhipped for even dreaming up that stupid idea.
