Resources for a robotic arm using four bar linkage

Hi! I am researching how to make a robotic arm and the best approach. So I guess my question would be, do any of you all know the best resources to research robotic arms using four bar linkage and linear actuators? I am honestly confused how to make a robotic arm to the best of my ability using the best available means. This robotic arm will be the size around of a human arm. Could any of you all help me find resourses to help me research this. Also I am using an arduino as the circuit board.
