My laptop took a beating recently and I can't retrieve any files from it....
I had a sketch that I loaded to my Arduino before and I wanted to know if there was any way that I could retrieve the code from that sketch?
If the ATmega is not locked you can read the hex file (machine code) but not the source code.
Ok so your laptop doesnt work at all??? Please be more specific..
However you can take your laptop's HDD out and plug it to another desktop PC , and check if it works.. If yes go yo the path your sketch is saved and retrieve it...
