retrieve data from my website to the Arduino

I have connected my Arduino properly to my website by using the WiFi shield.
My project is to get data from the website whether 0 or 1 to open a door

how can I retrieve data from user input on a website? how can I send 0 or 1 to the Arduino? I'm totally confused please help

You have given us very little information. How do you know you've connected properly to your website? Are you getting something on the arduino that you know is coming from the website? Does your website know if the door is open or not and you want it to tell the arduino?

You might use client code similar to below to capture what is returned from the server and evaluate the contents of the captured data.

Is the Arduino serving up the web page? If so, and the page has a form and the form has a submit button with an action, the action can cause the browser that is displaying the page to make another GET request to the Arduino-as-server.

If the Arduino is acting as a client, it can NOT get data from another client (browser).
