I often download the NIghtly Builds to have a look a the Revisions.txt file so that I get an idea of what's coming up with the next major release. I'm sure I am not alone...
It would be nice if on the Downloads Page... Under Hourly Builds / Nightly Builds if you could have a link to the most recent Revisions.txt. That way, we could decide if we want to tasks your servers by downloading the ENTIRE build... or wait a couple a days and check back again...
Thanks for the link Pert... Had not occurred to me to look there.
I followed it and looks like the revisions.txt hasn't been updated in 20 days... I've downloaded the entire nightly build in that time frame a few times just to read the revisions.txt. OH well.
Now, I will always check on the Github Arduino master branch repository to see if any new noteworthy revisions have taken place.
You can also check the commit history to see every change that has been made(they only put the major changes in revisions.txt): Commits · arduino/Arduino · GitHub
Any change made more than an hour ago should be in the hourly build.
