Has anyone worked with either a Laird RF modem AC4490-200M or a uBlox GPS LEA-4P?
My father bought a truck last year, used, and while I was digging around looking for the Sirius antenna cable; I found a small black box that had the above two items as daughter boards. the box was connected to the OBDII connector and had two antennas stuck to the windshield.
I noticed the antennas earlier but didn't pay any attention to them.
I sent an email to the maker of the box but no reply, I guess because I'm a single entity and not looking to purchase several of them for a fleet of vehicles.
following the pins on the GPS unit looks easy enough for interfacing but the RF modem appears to be a tad more difficult. any ideas or pointers from the think tank?
