RF Sniffing with arduino

Hello,

I have the following components:

  • 434 mhz RF Receiver (RWS-371)
  • Arduino Uno
  • "Klik aan/Klik uit" remote (434 mhz RF transmitter)(16-channels)

I am trying to sniff the code from the transmitter to control the lights. What is the best way to sniff the code? I saw something from audacity but is this the best way?

I also saw something of "RC switch code". I tried this but this is not working and I don't know what I am doing wrong.

I am relatively new to Arduino. Is there some information about RF sniffing and a tutorial or something?
