RF transmitter and receiver

Hi everyone,
Can any body tell me how to create RF transmitter and receiver module. I know there are cheap RF module are available. I want to create my own. Thanks in advance for your kind help.

I want to create my own.

It is illegal in most countries to build your own transmitter.

While true in the general sense, (50 kW CB radios, anyone?) It is possible to get a ham license to make it legal.

Why do you want to build your own transmitter and receiver?
You wont be able to make anything thats as good as what you can buy, and you need a skillset that most people dont have if you want to transmit hi speed data.

Well, I can see the reason. It's the first thing I really wanted to do when I got into electronics. But it happens to be one of the most difficult design tasks. Also, if you screw up, you screw up the local RF or sometimes the global RF environment. Thus the legal limitations. So it isn't a good choice for a noob.

There are plenty of simple circuits on the web for single-transistor transmitters that will send signals to nearby AM and FM receivers. Start there.

And your neighbour's TV set. An my hi-fi. I know, I was once the culprit! These days I buy the ready built units from the Far East, which work great and don't broadcast my data to all and sundry in a 100km range!
I second aarg in saying not the best choice of project for a noob!

Allow me to apologize for the delay :frowning: . Let me clarify that I want to mentioned RF receiver and transmitter for rc toy. BTW I know how to create am/fm transmitter and receiver(sw). Hope I am clear this time. I want to create as small as possible(2ch at least). I am looking for your wise suggestion.

Thanks in advance.

Check to see if they are legal in your area.

It doesn't matter what you want to use it for it is probably illegal.

2ch at least

The number of channels does not affect the transmitter design, it is simply the signal you modulate it with.

Not by any means all things are, but this is strictly in the category of:

"If you have to ask how, then you cannot do it and should not even attempt it."

Thank you everyone for your reply. Can I use 27Mhz? There are toys are available which are using RF transmittion system. They are not illigal. Also any one can buy this without any restrictions. Government never stop them to distrubute. Hope I am clear.

But, they are type accepted. You have to take your RCS data to the FCC to have your device approved. Note this all applies if you build your own module if you buy a pre-fabbed module or IC, you are fine.

Ok I understand can you give me some idea about pre-fabbed module which I can build ?

Pre-fabbed != "I can build"
