I am planning a project in which I‘d like one master to send data to approx. 256 slaves in a one way direction ( ack not needed ). Same data should be sent to all slaves. Is this possible to do with NRF24L01 and tmrh20 library?
Could I just program all slaves to open the same readingpipe and disable ack? Or is there another way to go?
I cannot understand from the tmrh20 lib if this is possible or not...

YES. But what they need to have in common is the address - doesn't matter which pipe they are putting the received messages into.
Just ensure that auto acknowledge is turned off for the master and all the slaves.
If the extra reliability of an acknowledgement would be useful just give each slave a separate address and have the master send to each address in turn.
If you want simple 2-way communication then the master-and-two-slaves example in my tutorial could be extended to all 256 slaves.
