RF24 library not working(?)(wiring is OK)

Hi, I was getting started with the RF24 library with the nrf24l01+ modules and I was trying the GettingStarted sketch when the Arduino was printing something out into the Serial monitor that I didn't understand... TX arduino:

Now sending 160485...failed.

Got response 160485, round-trip delay: 77

Now sending 161562...failed.

Got response 161562, round-trip delay: 76

Now sending 162639...failed.

Got response 162639, round-trip delay: 76

Now sending 163716...failed.

Got response 163716, round-trip delay: 76

Now sending 164793...failed.

Got response 164793, round-trip delay: 77

Now sending 165870...failed.

Got response 165870, round-trip delay: 76

Now sending 166947...failed.

Got response 166947, round-trip delay: 76

RX arduino:

Got payload 152945...Sent response.

Got payload 154022...Sent response.

Got payload 155100...Sent response.

Got payload 156177...Sent response.

Got payload 157254...Sent response.

Got payload 158330...Sent response.

Got payload 159408...Sent response.

Got payload 160485...Sent response.

Got payload 161562...Sent response.

Got payload 162639...Sent response.

Got payload 163716...Sent response.

Got payload 164793...Sent response.

Got payload 165870...Sent response.

Got payload 166947...Sent response.

My question here is why is the TX arduino saying the message is failing to be sent when the RX arduino is receiving everything right and the TX arduino is telling me it received the response?

I appreciate any help given, Thanks!

Without seeing your code I can only guess that some of the transmissions fail.

Ignore that sketch. It never worked for me and as far as I have seen inthis forum, other report the same.

Try something of your own. also check the other example sketches.

I've tried this sketch with multiple other radios and I am pretty sure your right (nikosk)-maniac bug messed up on this. I'm thinking of looking at the example you record to robin2. Thanks again for your help!

Use the "Hello World" example. It should work. The maniacbug fork may not be regularly maintained. Try the TMRH20 fork.
