RFduino Board installation Issue

Hi,

So, I as we know you can only install the libraries of RFduino manually because the company that created it no longer exist. I was able to include the libraries and even the board into the boards options. However, every time I try to upload the sketch into my RFduino, the following error shows:

Warning: platform.txt from core 'RFduino Boards' contains deprecated recipe.c.combine.pattern="{compiler.path}{compiler.c.elf.cmd}" {compiler.c.elf.flags} -mcpu={build.mcu} {build.extra_flags} "-T{build.variant.path}/{build.ldscript}" "-Wl,-Map,{build.path}/{build.project_name}.map" -Wl,--cref -o "{build.path}/{build.project_name}.elf" "-L{build.path}" -Wl,--warn-common -Wl,--warn-section-align -Wl,--start-group "{build.path}/syscalls.c.o" {object_files} "{build.variant.path}/{build.variant_system_lib}" "{build.variant.path}/libRFduino.a" "{build.variant.path}/libRFduinoBLE.a" "{build.variant.path}/libRFduinoGZLL.a" "{build.path}/{archive_file}" -Wl,--end-group, automatically converted to recipe.c.combine.pattern="{compiler.path}{compiler.c.elf.cmd}" {compiler.c.elf.flags} -mcpu={build.mcu} {build.extra_flags} "-T{build.variant.path}/{build.ldscript}" "-Wl,-Map,{build.path}/{build.project_name}.map" -Wl,--cref -o "{build.path}/{build.project_name}.elf" "-L{build.path}" -Wl,--warn-common -Wl,--warn-section-align -Wl,--start-group "{build.path}/core/syscalls.c.o" {object_files} "{build.variant.path}/{build.variant_system_lib}" "{build.variant.path}/libRFduino.a" "{build.variant.path}/libRFduinoBLE.a" "{build.variant.path}/libRFduinoGZLL.a" "{build.path}/{archive_file}" -Wl,--end-group. I read that deleting the Arduino15 in the AppData folder could solve it, but didnt help me. Im currently using Arduino 1.8.9. So I will try to use previous versions to see if that could fix the problem. But if anybody has a better solution for this problem is more than welcome.

Thanks

Hi. I have published a replacement for the file that was deleted when RFDuino was bought out so that people can still install RFDuino support to the Arduino IDE using Boards Manager. You can find the details here:
https://forum.arduino.cc/index.php?topic=610331.0

Please delete your attempt at manually installing RFduino and do a Boards Manager installation instead.

Thank you pert!! You are a savior!!

You're welcome. I'm glad if I was able to be of assistance. Enjoy!
