RFID RC522 doesn't read all my cards

I bought this module recently and I am trying to use it to duplicate some cards (from my office for example). It's working fine with the cards provided with the module (One white card, and a blue key-chain) but it's not working at all with my office card for example (the card says ioProx, I think is a really well known brand for this kind of cards).
My question is: this is happening because this is a different kind of card and this module is not capable of read it? or this is happening because this card has some encryption or security system that is blocking me?

Any help is welcome!

Regards,

Fernando

"Compatible with dual-encoded 26-bit Wiegand and Kantech Extended Secure Format (XSF) proximity cards"

Sounds like the ioProx cards do not use an industry standard protocol.

Yes.

Ok, thank you very much for your responses!

Hi On the same line can RFID RC522 read HID Wiegand cards? I'm trying to read a HID 0008P card with a HID Reader SWH 5100, unable retrieve data using existing codes in the forum,

the SWH 5100 powered with an external power source and the Data0 and Data1 points are connected to interrupts. still i don't get any data from that reader,

Trying to see if i can explore using RFID RC522 , any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
