Thought you guys might like to see this clock I made...
It is a Boarduino sending data to 4 x 74HC595N Shift Registers which are sinking and sourcing current to an 8x8 RGB LED Module (C+). 3 of the 595's are sinking current for the Red, Green and Blue channels and the final one is sourcing current and multiplexing the rows.
The time data is being obtained through an DS1307 Real Time Clock IC.
I did this today and it took about 5 hours all in all.
I have been trying to also hook up an DCF77 clock receiver but have had not success with any of the code examples i've found, despite my Logic Analyser showing pulses are being received fine.
