Hi there I am a beginner arduino user and I am wondering if this project will be possible. I intend to make a stand alone colour activated music box, that can play 4 samples at the same time, each sample activated depending on what colour is detected by each RGB sensor. I plan on having 4 RGB sensors, with 12 samples. I.E If sensor 1 = blue/green/red then play sample 1/2/3. if sensor 2 = blue/green/red then play sample 4/5/6. I have found the Teensy 3.2 and its audio component which can play multiple tracks at the same time but I'm hesitant to buy in case this project isn't going to work. It sounds a little confusing when trying to explain it now..
