robot library not found in online arduino editor

i have been trying to program a robot to avoid obstacles and move. i came accross this snippet of code online, but when i tried it for myseld, arduino fails to recognise the library even though its present in its examples. whats going on??

#include <ArduinoRobot.h>
#include <Wire.h>

void setup() {

  Robot.begin();
}
void loop() {

  Robot.motorsWrite(255, 255);
  delay(100);
}

while this library example is present on editor which also fails to be compiled

/*

 */

#include <ArduinoRobot.h>
#include <Wire.h>

void setup() {
  // initialize the robot
  Robot.begin();
}

void loop() {
  Robot.turn(50); //turn 50 degrees to the right
  Robot.motorsStop();
  delay(1000);

  Robot.turn(-100); //turn 100 degrees to the left
  Robot.motorsStop();
  delay(1000);
}

Have You use the IDE library handler to check that that library is present? It doesn't look like that. Maybe You need to download, and/or install it properly?

Please do this:

  • Hover the mouse over the red bar that shows the error message. Click and drag it up so you can see the black console window.
  • Click the icon in the top right corner of the console that looks like two pieces of paper.
  • Paste the error in a message here USING CODE TAGS (</> button on the forum toolbar).
