Do you have documentation that shows you can get an rssi value? Perhaps one of the "AT" commands?
i understand that there is a at+iqn command that give me the rssi but i am not sure if i can get it from a phone (it becuse i dont want to work with 3 bluethooths) and how it work
You have likely already found that the "AT" commands are only usable when the Bluetooth is NOT connected. So, I think you need to look into other devices.
so who you can use the commands if it isn't connected?
if i will use 3 instad the phone it would work?
You have not shown the documentation that it is possible!
How far apart are the bluetooth devices on the receiver ?
RSSI readings at the bluetooth frequencies can vary a lot so unless the receivers are a long way apart, getting a 'direction' is not going to be easy.
i think like a meter
how much apart they need to be?
Thanks. That documents that is DOES NOT work!
i saw a video that show how to use the commands at with Two HC-05 Bluetooth Modules as Master and Slave.
so why it cant work?
p.s.
i found this video
Do the trig.
At the distance you want to follow, what would be the path differance if the receivers that are 1m apart, are say 15 degrees out from pointing in the right direction. If the realtive path length difference is small, using RSSI is a non starter.
Did you find any working exampes or code with an Internet search, what you attmepting is a common request, so there ought to be heaps of working examples out there by now ?
And then take reflections and obstacles into the equation
what it is mean path differance?
the things i find i sent in the up Comment
please help me i need to finish this project until tomorrow and i am screwed :
From the little research I did, the HC-05 is not the same device as HC-06.
i will you use what ever device i need if it will be HC-06 or will be HC-05
Well, since others seem to be able to get RSSI from the HC-05 and not from the HC-06, that should be your choice!
How many other links have you looked at?
a lot but HELP me and don't ask me questions. you start to sound like me mom
