Rokit motors not working

We have bought a rokit arduino kit and are having trouble getting the motors to work, does anyone have any suggestions as to why this might be?
They are DC motors, KR-250, they are both connected to the board by red and black wires, and the board is connected to a quad battery pack and the batteries are charged, the board is a smart inventor v2.
We assembled the bugbot model and uploaded the basic bugbot code, the LEDs light up to signal the speed increasing and decreasing when we press the corresponding buttons on the remote control.

Provide a drawing of the circuit. Hand drawn and photographs is ok as long as it is clear.

A what?

I guess something like this

@beenvo123: please don't assume that we know every single product in the world that relates to Arduino. You should have provided a link so we don't have to do the research but be able to concentrate on your problem

If the above is not the correct one, please provide a clickable link to the correct product. You create a clickable link by typing
