The sample rate is 50Hz for the sensor
How did you come up with that sample rate? Seems pretty slow for an SPI device.
Why do you need such precision?
How fast is this unwinding?
How many revolutions ?
Can a simple once per revolution optic interrupter be used to just count the revolutions?
