Round lcd screen - irl status display

Okay, so by impulse, I bought two round lcd screens off of amazon ( JUJNE 1.28 TFT Screen Black Screen LCD Display Module 1.28-IPS Round Colorful LCD Board 240X240 SPI Interface GC9A01 Driver) and I'd like to make status displays for me and my co-worker, kind of like on teams.

Basically I want us to be able to through the press of a button, make the screen switch the displayed status (eg. in a meeting, free, lunch break etc.) but I have limited knowledge on the topic.

What I'm asking is, what other components do I need for this project, and once all the parts arrive, what are the steps to make this happen?

I've been wanting to get into this for a long time, just didn't know where to start, but now I came up with this, and I'm excited to start my journey.

DroneBotWorkshop has thorough examples on many Arduino subjects. Here is his GC9A01 LCD page (and video)...
